We are happy to provide advice on all medical aspects of foreign travel.
Additional immunisation and vaccine updates may be required, please allow 6 weeks prior to travel, if possible.
Run throughout the week. Appointments are arranged for you through the recall system.
All patients on inhaler medicine are advised to attend at least annually for a check up.
Clinics are held each week at the Practice, and are run by the Practice Nurses. Appointments are usually received by post but please enquire if you believe your child's vaccine is overdue.
Contraceptive advice is available during normal surgery hours. Emergency Contraception (morning after pill) is available upto 72hrs after unprotected intercourse.
Some minor operations can be carried out by the doctor, either at the surgery or the Cottage Hospital. Please make an appointment in the normal way to assess the problem.
For insurance purposes, pre-employment, HGV Licences, etc. are normally arranged outside surgery hours. The receptionist will arrange an appointment. These services are not covered by the NHS and will attract a fee. The current fee scale is displayed in the waiting room.
