Maternity care

pregnant10Ante natal clinics are run on a Wednesday by the practice midwife. Delivery may be at home or at a District General Hospital.

Counselling Services

A counsellor is available in our Practice or other sites in Buxton. They see patients on our premises, You can self refer using the forms in the reception.

Citizens Advice Bureau

High Peak Citizens Advice Bureau offer sessions in our Practice every Wednesday between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm. [9.30 –11.00 appointments only and 11.45—12.30 drop-in sessions]

Dietician

These appointments are arranged through a referral system.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors visit all families of children under 5 yrs

They offer a drop in baby clinic at Surestart Centre, Fairfield on Tuesday morning between 9.30 and 12 noon. They are available to give advice on all aspects of child health, under 5’s and can be contacted on 07794 158349

District Nurse

Holds clinics on Mon, Tues,Thurs, Frid. at the Surgery, at 12 noon for removal of stitches, renewal of dressings, etc. Ask at reception for an appointment or ring directly on 01298 212827.
